Abstract

The article considers the protective function of soluble and membrane-linked SH proteins of hydrophytes and hydatophytes in their adaptation to heavy metals. It has been found that compared with hydatophytes, hydrophyte leaves have greater ability to fix Cu, Cd and Ni by proteins and SH groups.

Abstract

Anatomo-morphological analysis of higher plants characteristics makes it possible to come to the conclusion that there are following indicators of plants fastness to oil pollution: aerencyma quantity, xylem elements quantity and size and xeromorphy. These characteristics may be considered as the state of soil indicators in oil pollution. Tolerant species of local flora can be chosen for a scientific phytomelioration methods study.

There are lots of oil production enterprises in Nizhnevartovsk but there are no service sectors which can bring income to the municipal budget. Developing of tourist business as a new service trade is proposed by the author of the article. The project is based on «The Obskaya Varta» tourist complex, which can attract small and medium-sized businesses investments and provide employment opportunities. The above mentioned project will lay down the foundations for the development of the territory between Nizhnevartovsk and it satellite town Izluchinsk.

Abstract

Cyclic-wave methodology can be considered as a universal means of present-day reality cognition. It may be useful for the analysis of any community at any time and on any territory. The methodology presents economic development as a scope of one-type economical cycles and the integral dynamics of economical evolution as the result of those cycles combinations. The author of the article brings out the notion of «market economy cycles». These cycles are characterized by the scope of production and non-production processes developing in specific socio-economical areas on the basis of geographical clusters. Each cluster is formed on the basis of market economy particular cycles. The main aim of the clusters is profit earning, competitiveness and image. Geographical clusters forming is the main direction in the usage of the resources and the most effective means of socio-economical guarantee that Asian Russia's economy complies the interests of the region's development under the conditions of the global business competition and the present state of market.

Abstract

The key territorial problem in the economy of Pri-Ishimje which can be solved by the local governments is the disparity between the imposed specialization and the working practices and traditions of the local population. The lack of integrated approaches to the development and distribution of industries the region is the other problem. The priorities should be changed and it is necessary to put emphasis on the economical and ecological factors of sustainable society development. Special attention has to be paid to sociocultural problems. Underestimation of culture-historical factors in economic specialization may produce negative effect on the territorial economic and social systems functioning.

Owing to the Commission of the European Communities grant, the Siberian Research and Engineering Institute of Rational Nature Management together with the Swedish Environmental Research Institute is working out Environmental Risk Management for Contaminated Marsh Land in Khanty-Mansiysk («EnRiMa ConMa») project. Important problems of regulatory and methodological support as well as recultivation technology for oil contaminated and saline lands in Khanty-Mansiysk region have been handled within the framework of the project. Methodological approaches to the solution of the present-day problems are proposed on the basis of the European and domestic experience.

Specialists of the Siberian Research and Engineering Institute of Rational Nature Management offer an alternative technology based on self-restoring capacity of ecosystems. The main principle of the technology lies in oil spills containment, free oil removal and air-dry peat coating of damaged surface.

Abstract

Analysis of the license areas allocated for oil extraction in Khanty-Mansiysk gives evidence that there are some economical, administrative, legal/jural and regulatory factors enabling peat bogs development and peat resources extermination. Alternative oil field engineering in areas of the least ecologico-economical value allows to minimize the swampy woodlands and peat resources damage. At the same time reduction of the equipment cost becomes possible.
